We grow and process numerous medicinal and aromatic plants, such as uncaria tomentosa – also known as samento or cat’s claw – on our herbal farm in the Dutch town of Groede. Uncaria tomentosa is a non-indigenous plant used around the world to boost the immune system and as an anti-inflammatory agent. Uncaria tomentosa’s beneficial effects are especially clear when fighting viral infections such as herpes or shingles. Like Echinacea forte and ashwaganda forte complexes, uncaria tomentosa boosts the immune system. However, uncaria tomentosa is not the only effective extract for treating viruses, as the same is true for a black walnut tincture.
